The goal of the “Barva” project is to transform the design of educational institutions into a modern and colourful one. A large number of objects have been affected by bombings, and some schools have not been restored for decades. Our goal is to create an ideal renewed space for students in such schools, fresh and vibrant through a creative approach and colourful design. We want to transform school premises into places where hope and a sense of something new, a new beginning, prevail.
For us, children are the most valuable group that needs protection in society. The future of our country depends on the next generation. We believe that creating hope and opportunities for children is the best investment in a bright future for all of us.
Art as Salvation:
The conditions of war can be very challenging, but art has the power to bring smiles and joy, to transform the ordinary into magic, even in the toughest times. Painted walls and restored school buildings become symbols of hope and a bright future.
Imagination Development:
Bright colors and unconventional paintings help children develop their imagination and creative abilities. This gives them tools to express themselves and overcome emotional difficulties.
Bombings destroy cities and infrastructure, not sparing children’s educational institutions – schools and kindergartens. Due to Russia’s military aggression, approximately 200 schools have been completely destroyed, and over 1,000 educational institutions have been damaged. During these times, it is impossible to remain indifferent. The joy of a child is the highest value, which is why the ‘Barva’ project was founded. The project’s ideologists are street art artists Michelle and Nicole Feldman
Let’s color the world of Ukrainian children together
During this time, several successful initiatives have already been implemented, such as painting schools, kindergartens, orphanages, children’s playgrounds, and restoring damaged school buildings. We see how this brings joy to children who have faced the challenges of war.
Continuing our efforts, we intend to expand this opportunity to even more children. Our “Barva” project is not just painted walls but also a symbol of hope and a bright future for young hearts.
Let’s continue this project together and give Ukrainian children a happy future in their educational journey, as well as help them return to restored and safe school classrooms. Your support will help us continue this noble cause.
